What are the ways credits are earned?

Credits are given for interacting with the forum, whether through replying to a thread, posting a thread of your own, visiting a friend's page- the list goes on. You can see credits being broken down in settings as

( Total score=loyality + contribution + Posts +Friends X 0.2 + Threads + Digests X 2 + Online Time (hours) X 0.2 )
