Dissapearing furniture, can't replace?

Today I discovered that if you try doing more than one piece of furniture at a time some of it tends to disappear, but for some reason I can't replace it! Any ideas when this is getting fixed because I'm really tired of having such a tight limit on furniture and losing furniture. If the clothes are limitless, shouldn't the furniture be too, or at the very least put back all lost pieces of furniture?
