New Login Security?

Soooooo I know we need better login security to keep hackers out but I am not a fan of this new CAPTCHA thing that we have now. I thought I was going to get locked out of my account! I couldn't figure out for a while what to do because the puzzle was in another language! And then I had to try like five times to get in anyway because it kept saying my password was invalid even though I knew it wasn't. I know that the real CAPTCHA probably costs money or something but I don't think using this one is a good idea. Just my personal opinion. EDIT - I agree that a CAPTCHA in general is a good idea, I just don't like this one!

Sorry, the CAPTCHA thing is disabled, it came up with the new security plugin update ,  and i didn't know there was a puzzle thing

When i heard about this problem, i immediately went to log in as my alt. and sure enough that happened too. my password is locked in my head, and i know i didnn't forget it, even after I got the "Sorry invalid password thing". i see what the developers are going for with this, but maybe it might help if a) it wasn't in a different language. i understand that Chinese might be the common language for the developers, but not for the users. most of us wouldn't understand what it meant, and could possibly lock us out of our accounts by mistake and b) if we could get a warning about this. this made me wonder if my account was hacked or got banned/muted or something (even though I didn't exactly think that, others could and would brush this site away, losing many members due to this).

i think this is a good idea- although i too got stuck at this screen and i did not get a puzzle pop up.
i like the idea of this new security measure- but i fear it will cause some panic if people cannot access their accounts. i hope this issue gets fixed!

Well, I agree, wouldn't exactly call it a bad idea, but I would suggest tinkering around for it a bit more, just so it doesn't scare everyone else like it did with us okay? And probably pin a thread in red or any other noticeable color  ( admins this means ya'll) to let everyone know before the forum explodes with what the hiccups is going on threads.

Been absent a couple weeks. That's what that is.... I was worried I'd get locked out! I was sure I had my password correct, however I did not get a picture. It showed like a loading circle and non-english writing then told me my login info was invalid.....

I only had a problem when I used another device but it wasn't much of a problem. I just guessed what to do and I clicked the writing and it worked. I still have no idea what the writing said. What does the writing say? Anyone know

Clearly people are having an issue with this new log in system for enhancing security, hopefully this is an experiment to see what works better with keeping the site secured.
