Ingredients Feedback
I just wanted to say that I'm super excited and happy that ingredients are now available to collect in 2.0! I always enjoyed collecting ingredients in FairyABC 1.0 and in the original Pixie Hollow online game. However, I noticed a couple things that were a bit innaccurate to Pixie Hollow Online.[*]Different meadows in the hollow had different specific ingredients available in Pixie Hollow Online. For example, you'd normally find pine needles in the winter meadows and in Acorn Summit. All ingredients can be found in any meadow in FairyABC.
[*]Certain ingredients were rarer and harder to come by than others in Pixie Hollow Online. For example, dandelion fluff were very common and oak leaves were rare. There doesn't seem to be an ingredient rarity system in FairyABC as far as I'm aware.
[*]Some ingredients such as gems, truffles, and bits of metal could only be found in wilderness adventures in Pixie Hollow Online. They can all be found in all regular meadows in FairyABC.
Of course, FairyABC is still in development stage and not all the features are out yet, so I understand that not everything is completely accurate to the original Pixie Hollow yet. This is just my feedback for the future. Thank you to all the developers for working hard to bring back the game of our childhoods! :]::rainbow::
At least now we get some info on the ingredients we're collecting, but what will the ingredients be used for? Also, will there be a rarity system for the ingredients? Will we have to purchase our outfits and animal friends all over again? Will we finally be able to play the games of Pixie Hollow again, albeit post-Flash and if yes, will we get to choose our ingredients as a reward and trade for other ingredients again? And diamonds, will we need those? So many questions I can't fit them all in one reply!{:m_s24:}
| I do notice that too! Like the wilderness ingredients on the ordinary meadows felt weird at first, but I also knew that having them means it's a step closer to having the wilderness meadows which hopefully we can explore~
| I'm sure the devs may consider this feedback and and may do something about it so fingers crossed! O: I noticed that too. Like you said, though, the game is still very much in a developmental stage and the devs are trying to lay down a majority of the groundwork before features start being tweaked and perfected. Thank you for your feedback. It takes a keen eye to notice the little details like that, and I'm sure this will be revisited in future updates. I was so happy when I flew into 2.0 a few days ago and saw ingredients. I don't know about others but I love collecting ingredients. I noticed as well there were the more rare like gems and feathers. Like you said, it's still being developed and it's a big improvement to the previous one. It can only go up from here!
