I don't know what to do at this point?

Okay so I'm trying to do an edit of Kate and the Tinkerbell body I'm using has different lighting than the clothes. I don't know how to make the clothes blend in with the body. I could probably just shade it a little bit, but Idk how to shade at all. What can I do about this?
(P.S. I'm using Gimp 2.8)

| Like what Wispa said, you can add shadows on the clothing and some light.
| Also I noticed you're using GIMP, so I guess the multiply can be found there.
| As for the lighting, I am not sure but I guess you can make-do by air-brushing in the side of the light source and lower opacity.
| You can also consider duplicating the outfit, change its hue and saturation up a bit and lower the opacity to make it coherent with Tink. If you just want to change Tink's body, change the hue.

| Hope this helps hng I am kinda bad at explaining things lol

Ok so I use Firealpaca, not Gimp, but this is what I'd do:

Method 1:
You could create another layer and use an airbrush to blend in the shadows/light.
Tip: Mess around with the opacity until it looks right.

Method 2:
You could create another layer and paint on some shadows (if that makes sense) and blur it in using a blur brush/tool.

Method 3:
Make a selection of the clothes or Tink's body (Not both!) and mess around with the color tones. In Firealpaca you go to the top bar thing and click Filter then Hue. It's probably different in Gimp, but they probably have the same idea so I bet you can just look up "How to change hues in Gimp"

Note*
Do not use black for your shadows! Just use a darker version of the color that you are shading.

I hope this helped!

It looks great even though you're not done!

I would recommend looking at references for shading and trying to replicate that on your fairy. You'll pick it up eventually!
